Any help would be appreciated. The Darkness is a byproduct of the Dark Sun, an alternate version of the Sun which gives light to Inner Earth, the home of the Dredge.īefore the events of The Banner Saga, Juno was executed by the Council of Menders for committing their gravest crime: altering the mind of her lover Eyvind in an attempt to cure his insanity. This game and part 2 do have some buggy achievements where the game will grant the renown bonus for getting the achievement but it won't actually unlock for a few hours, or upon restarting the game, or sometimes having to do it twice, but this has been a full day now. I had already unlocked the Sole Survivor achievement and prior to writing this post I went for the ending (to be thorough) where Eyvind goes nuts and kills absolutely everyone and that didn't work either so I'm really at a loss here. This is probably the most common way of doing this achievement too which was now really frusturating me. Apostate and Castaway were both alive on this save file so I proceeded to lose the battle against Bolverk which killed them, and went for the good ending - still nothing. So I loaded back to the Dredge Godstone and this time had the timer on Arberrang expire and completed the game with the Ravens alive - except for Apostate and Castaway of course - still nada.Īt that point I figured it was possible that a save file with Apostate dead from the previous game was not registering him as being dead in this one, so I loaded a different save slot back to Chapter 20, and did not let Bastion in. I thought maybe the dredge baby was voiding this somehow? Even though I couldn't find anything on any forum suggesting this. I went for the good ending and had Iver convince Eyvind to sacrifice Juno and Arberrang survived. This seemed like the most sure fire way to go about this but it did not pop. The imported save file I used had Apostate killed in part 2 by Bolverk, Iver killed Castatway, and I did not open the gates for Bastion. The first time going for it was during my "Scrape By" run though.

I have all the achievements for all 3 games, except for this fairly simple one and it's driving me nuts. 4 playthroughs for part 1, 4 playthroughs for part 2, and 3 playthroughs for part 3 (including lots of reloading of previous chapters). Hi all, I spent the last month playing Banner Saga 1-3 and absolutely loved them all.
